Punjabi singer and actor announced completing filming of war drama Border 2 shoot on Saturday in a heartwarming social media post. He celebrated the occasion in a sweet and traditional way by distributing laddus to his co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ahan Shetty, director Anurag Singh, and the rest of the film's crew. 

Diljit took to his social media and shared a video, giving fans a glimpse into the moments of joy on the sets.  In the video, Diljit is seen having a blast with his co-stars

 Varun and Ahan. The track of Border, titled Sandese Aate Hai, can also be heard playing.

Diljit will be protraying the character of NirmaL Jit Singh Sekhon, the only Indian Air Force officer honoured with Param Vir Chakra for his heroic defence of Srinagar air base during the Indo-Pakistan war in 1977. He single-handedly took on six enemy aircraft F-86 and  shot down first and damaged the second in a dogfight at tree-top fight and engaged two more before his Gnat took a fatal hit and crashed into a gorge near Badgam. He was only 26 when he was martyred.

He became a torchbearer for India to secure a decisive victory against Pakistan on December 16, 1971.
